The storage of titanium rod cakes requires strict control of environmental conditions to avoid affecting product quality. First, the storage area must be dry and well-ventilated, with relative humidity controlled below 60% to prevent surface oxidation or rust, especially for untreated titanium rod cakes, as moisture accelerates oxide scale formation. Second, it must be kept away from corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salt spray, and avoid contact with chemical raw materials and corrosive gases. The storage area must be properly isolated to prevent corrosive media from adhering to the product surface. During storage, titanium rod cakes should be stacked on raised platforms using wooden or rubber mats, at least 10 cm above the ground, to prevent direct contact with the ground and potential moisture absorption or scratches. Titanium rod cakes of different materials and specifications should be stacked separately and clearly labeled to prevent confusion. Avoid stacking too high to prevent product deformation due to excessive pressure.

 

Furthermore, regular inspections are necessary during storage to check for defects such as oxidation and rust. If problems are found, address them promptly. For products stored long-term, appropriate surface protection treatment can be applied to ensure that subsequent performance is not affected.

 

1. Temperature and Humidity Control: Recommended storage temperature: 15-30℃, relative humidity: ≤60%; High-purity titanium rods require vacuum or inert gas packaging to prevent oxidation.

 

2. Isolation and Protection Measures: Avoid direct contact with metals such as copper and aluminum to prevent galvanic corrosion; Storage racks must be made of polypropylene or HDPE material; wooden pallets are prohibited.
