GB/T 26060-2010, "Titanium and Titanium Alloy Ingots," is the current core standard, specifying the requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for titanium ingots. It applies to round and rectangular flat ingots produced by vacuum self-contained arc furnaces (VAR) and electron beam cold hearth furnaces (EBCHM).
To promote resource recycling, GB/T 45057-2024, "Recycled Titanium Ingots," was published on November 28, 2024, and will be implemented on June 1, 2025. This standard aims to regulate and improve the level of titanium resource recycling and has won the first prize in the National Nonferrous Metals Technical Standards Awards.
The "Energy Consumption Limits per Unit Product of Sponge Titanium and Titanium Ingots" officially came into effect on January 1, 2024, raising the energy consumption requirements for related products and standardizing statistical methods.
The National Technical Committee on Standardization of Nonferrous Metals is currently advancing the development of the national standard for "Titanium and Titanium Alloy Ingots" (Project No. 20079136-T-610), with BaoTi Group and other organizations primarily responsible for drafting the standard.
