Grade 12 titanium plate (Ti - 0.3Mo - 0.8Ni, UNS R53400, domestic TA10, EU 3.7105) is an α -type low alloy titanium plate. By adding Mo/Ni, its resistance to crevices corrosion and reducing acid corrosion is significantly enhanced, and its performance lies between that of pure titanium and palladium alloy plate with titanium(Gr7). It is a cost-effective corrosion-resistant material choice for harsh environments such as chemical engineering and Marine applications.

Core advantage

Corrosion resistance upgrade: Mo/Ni inhibits crevice corrosion and performs exceptionally well in high-temperature chlorides and dilute sulfuric acid/hydrochloric acid. It can replace part of Gr7 at a lower cost.

Strength-plastic balance: The strength is approximately 60% - 80% higher than that of Gr2, while still maintaining good cold formability and weldability.

Economic corrosion resistance: It offers better cost performance than palladium alloy titanium and is the preferred solution for harsh environments.

Key points of processing

It has good cold working formability. After large deformation, vacuum annealing at 700-750℃ is recommended for stress relief.

Argon gas is used for welding protection to prevent contamination, and the strength of the weld seam is close to that of the base material. Special cutting tools for temperature control to prevent sticking.
