A titanium pipe stub end (also called titanium lap joint stub end or titanium butt-welding ring) is a specialized corrosion-resistant pipe fitting designed to work with lap joint flanges in piping systems. Titanium pipe stub end has a short cylindrical barrel and a flared lap at one end; the barrel is butt-welded to the titanium pipe, while the lap fits inside a lap joint flange, enabling bolted, leak-tight connections that are easy to disassemble without re-welding.
