The Titanium Spherical Head is a key sealing and pressure-bearing end component for pressure vessels. Made from titanium or titanium alloys, it features a fully integrated spherical surface-making it the ideal and exclusive choice for ultra-high pressure vessels. It combines titanium's inherent corrosion resistance and lightweight properties with the superior pressure-bearing capacity of a spherical structure, setting it apart from semi-curved hemispherical heads. Titanium alloys have a tensile strength of 480~900 MPa and high yield strength. When combined with the spherical structure's mechanical characteristics, they effectively resist ultra-high internal pressure without local stress concentration.

It resists erosion by acids, alkalis, chlorides, seawater, and various strong corrosive chemical media-outperforming steel spherical heads significantly in corrosive and high-pressure environments.

With a density of approximately 4.51 g/cm³, titanium is only 60% as dense as steel. For large-caliber, ultra-high pressure heads, this greatly reduces overall equipment weight and lowers the design load on supports and foundations.

Titanium has an elongation of ≥10%~15% and sufficient plasticity, meeting the integral forming requirements of spherical heads and reducing the risk of cracking or deformation during processing.

It can withstand temperatures of 300~400℃, maintaining stable mechanical properties in medium-to-high temperature and pressure conditions without oxidation or performance degradation.

Compatible with TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding), arc welding, and other processes, it can be firmly welded to titanium pressure vessel cylinders, ensuring sealing and pressure-bearing integrity.
