Ti-6Al-4V is the workhorse of titanium alloys – an α+β alloy that gives you the best all‑around balance of strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The chemistry is roughly 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, with very tight limits on impurities like iron, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen (per ASTM B363).
