Strong compatibility between strength and toughness: In the annealed state, the minimum tensile strength of Gr2 titanium flat bar can reach 345MPa, the minimum yield strength is 275MPa, and the elongation after fracture is no less than 20%. Moreover, it can still maintain good mechanical properties in an environment of 100-400 ℃, with a tensile strength of up to 220MPa at 400℃.

 

Corrosion resistance is nearly "all-round" It has extremely strong resistance to various corrosive media. After being fully immersed in seawater for 30 years, the corrosion rate is less than 0.0005mm/a. In 65% boiling nitric acid, the corrosion rate is less than 0.005mm/a. It can also withstand the erosion of 200g/L sodium hypochlorite at 60℃ and wet chlorine gas at 80℃. It has no resistance to a few media such as oxalic acid and formic acid. There are no problems such as pitting corrosion or stress corrosion cracking.

 

Excellent processing and welding performance: Industrial titanium rod can be processed through various techniques such as hot and cold rolling, forging, and extrusion, and can also smoothly complete operations such as sawing, drilling, and TIG/MIG welding. No heat treatment is required after welding, and the toughness of the welded area can reach over 85% of the base material. Moreover, appropriate stress release treatment is carried out during processing to prevent material tearing and damage.

 

Physical properties are suitable for multiple scenarios: With a density of only 4.51g/cm³, it is 40% lighter than steel, effectively reducing the weight of components.
